What does home mean to me?

Home isn’t just a place, home is not just where you live but how you feel inside. Every home is different. My home feels loving and it is filled with joy and laughter. You might live in an apartment or in a house but wherever you live is ok because whatever makes you happy. Home is a place where you can feel at peace. Home is a place that keeps me warm and safe. Home is a place where people will take care of you and love you so much. Home can mean different things. Memories like your birthdays are special because your family is there to celebrate you or Christmas when everyone is excited for everyone. Home is a place where my cats love me. And a place where my puppy is a drama queen because when I pet my cats she will come over and jump up on me. And don't forget that home is different for everyone. Home changes over time like people will move out and go to college. Also home today has changed from home two years ago like more technology. Home can change because of emotions like your Grandma passing away. It can feel different but still be home. Home can have a smell or a sound that when you think of it it reminds you of home or what your childhood room looks like. You can always think about your home and even when you're not there you can see your room or other places in your house. When I think of home I think of family. What does home remind you of?
