My Amazing Home

As I wake up, I can hear my parents talking to each other. I am still a bit tired, but I go downstairs to eat breakfast. I can smell my mom’s cooking. She made bacon and put grapes on the side of the plate. As I eat, I think of what I should do later. I am wondering if I should see if my friend Madison can come meet me. Then I realize that she had classes today and was going to be busy. I will have nothing to do. I walk back up the stairs and hear the stairs creaking underneath me. I decide that I am going to go to my room to read a book. When reading I feel calm. I hear my brother playing a video game with his friends. I got a few chapters into the book when I hear the doorbell ring. My grandparents walk into my home.. I walk downstairs and start to play on the Nintendo Switch. My grandparents go to the kitchen to talk. It is already lunch time so I go to the table. In my house I always feel safe and happy. My mom made cauliflower with rice. The food smells amazing and I feel really lucky that my family is so great. I quickly finished my food then went to play a game on my iPad. A few hours later, I hear the sizzling of my mom cooking food again! I also hear the sound of my dad watching TV. He is watching some sort of movie. The food my mom made tastes like the best food ever. I ate my dinner and got ready to sleep. I brush my teeth and floss. My home is the best home ever.
