This Is Home

Home is where I laugh and play, Where I feel safe every day. It’s where I wake up and where I sleep, Where all my favorite memories keep. The morning sun shines through my room, It chases away the nighttime gloom. I hear my family down the hall, Their voices warm, I love them all. The kitchen smells like something sweet, Maybe pancakes, maybe a treat! I sit and eat, we talk and smile, We stay like that for quite a while. Outside, I run across the grass, The soft green blades let my feet pass. Home is the place I love the most! That is why it is my home 🏠
