What Home Means to Me

I smell delicious food that my parents make, or yummy desserts that sometimes my mom bakes. I smell pollen, sunflowers, and more, because the more I grow up, it feels like a nice, warm flower field more and more. I feel love, joy, encouragement and kindness. It’s great to be in this home full of love. I love my home. I see joy, courage, smiles and love everywhere I go. I see my lovely mom, dad and brothers, and my cats Sammy and Totoro. I see food, drinks, and deserts my mom bakes, and love my family makes. I feel safe in home, in this safe dome. I hear laughing and jokes, joy and giggles where there’s no strict laws, quietness in my room where I draw. I hear loud sounds, quiet sounds, and all different sounds. I hear lots of things, like birds flapping their wings, and kids playing outside as kings. I hear crying to flies buzzing and flying, and microwaves that heats to hearing music beats. I feel like I'm flying like a dove, in the lovely air, If this wasn't home and it was a house, I couldn't bear. There's no sad lore, I just feel happier more and more. Doves carry love, moss does not carry loss, and birthdays matter just like earth day. Births and deaths everyday, and good and bad days are ok. It's what you feel and what I feel, nothing else and focus on you. I taste food made with love and drinks bought with pride, I'm so happy I feel like I'm on a roller coaster ride. I taste a hint of love in every food, and love everywhere I go in restaurants, diners, bakeries and more. This is my home, not a house, a shelter, or a place, it's home. This is what home is to me.
