Home Sweet Home
Home Sweet Home
“A house is built with walls and beams, a home is built with love and dreams” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
A home can be made of sticks and mud or great big blocks of snow. A home can be twenty stories tall or in the ground below. A home can be way up on a hill or next to the ocean wide. A home can be a mill above or a chimney on its side. A home can be where you’re safe and sound or with family, friends and more. A home can be where you have your heart and all that you adore.
I am grateful for the bed I sleep on, the yard I play in and the kitchen I eat in. My favourite things about home are, my sofa which makes me feel really calm and relaxed, my devices which gives me great entertainment, and the most dearest and treasured people I live with, my family.
I adore the feeling of home because I feel safe because of the warmth of my family. I also have the feeling of appreciation when my family makes me feel like I fit in, and makes me feel the warm feeling of belonging. The third feeling that I get is warmth. The walls of my home during ill weather and my family hugs me at night to keep away from the cold, terrible feelings of loneliness. The next emotion that flows through my body is happiness that my family gives me each second within my life. My family has engaged with my joy since the day I came into existence until I will shed my final breath. Now for my grand finale, last but certainly not least, love. The love that my family fills within me gives me the embodiment of pride to be extremely blessed to be with my heritage of loving, hard working and supportive people in my life.
So, what I’m trying to express is there’s no place, but a loving place, like home!
