Everyone Deserves to Understand What it Feels Like to Have a Home

A home is something you can’t replace. A home is full of affectionate memories. A space built with cheerful laughter that creates a reminder to be happy. Something a house can’t replace is the aroma of your mom’s delicious cooking and baking that always awaits you. My building is filled with giggles and emotions that linger in the air. Home is where we feel at peace. Home is a comfortable place for everyone. At home we feel loved with warm embraces from our beloved ones. My brothers make me laugh out of happiness until my tummy twists. My home is where I belong. My home is not worth anything in other people’s eyes but, in my eyes it’s a place I will never forget; a place I will admire, adore and appreciate. My family helps me to be the best I can be and supports me no matter what happens. Home is where I grew up half my life and a place I will cherish forever. At the end of the day, home is something no one can replace or compare to. Everyone deserves to understand what it feels like to have a home. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity for giving people the chance to see, feel and smell the feeling of home.
