WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME
This is what home means to me:
It’s where memories begin,
It's where I love to be.
Everyone should be loved in their home.
Home is where my parents care,
My parents pay for things I need.
From water to electricity, to clothes to chairs,
I love my parents and they love me.
Home is where I play with my siblings,
Sometimes we fight and cry.
Sometimes we talk and laugh.
We help each other learn and try.
The kitchen is where my parents cook,
It's where scents and aromas fill the air.
We use spoons, forks, knives, and chopsticks.
It's where we share our food equally and fairly.
My bedroom is the place where I sleep,
It is where I have beautiful, nice dreams and scary, creepy nightmares.
Sometimes I’ll weep,
And sometimes I’m filled with joy.
My living room is where I watch tv,
With videos of all types.
It is where me and my family talk,
Where we tell the truth, no lies.
Everyone deserves a house,
A place where they can call home.
It is where you can walk,
And also roam.
I love my home,
Do you agree?
