Home Sweet Home ❤

Home is a place where we all have different memories from when you take your first step to the last. My home holds a special feeling for me as it gives me a space where I can freely express my emotions. Whenever I feel angry, sad, or down, my family seems to sense it and they always talk with me about it. Another reason why I love my family is because we go to a particular restaurant we love where we order the same thing and share it. Third, is that we do little things for each other that are pretty funny. For instance, on April Fool’s Day, I pranked my sister by giving her a salty biscuit and the reaction on her face is something I will never forget! They also do pranks on me. Once they poured oil on the door knob so I couldn’t get out - I remember that like it was yesterday! My home feels like home because sometimes on Fridays me and my family watch movies. We put on a cozy blanket and start watching, though sometimes when it’s my dad’s turn to pick the movie it is very boring and we might fall asleep. Second, is that we play board games. Something I absolutely hate is that my sister always wins, so my dad figures that she must be cheating some how! One thing I have I not mentioned is that we have traveled as a family to visit many places like Niagara Falls, Mexico, Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec, Ottawa, and the CN Tower. One place that I very much enjoyed visiting is USA. At all of these places, we got to gather with family and friends, and had a unforgettable time. Celebrations, like Diwali, happen very often for Hindus. I look forward to these celebrations every year. Two days before the Lakshmi Puja, we clean our house from top to bottom without missing a single spot, as Lakshimi ( Goddess of Wealth ) visits homes that are well cleaned and well lit. One more thing that I can not forget to mention is that in India, after people finish their puja, they visit people at their homes to pray to God together. A house will only be a house, until the people inside it make it home.❤
