The meaning of Home

My home is a place I look forward to at the end of a long day at school. My home is a place where I feel safe and don’t have to worry about being cool. For me a home is not a building but a place that has love and peace and where I bundle up on cold winter nights in my warm and fuzzy fleece. When I meet my darkest moments, I know I don’t need to worry about facing any opponents. In a home memories are formed, treasured and cherished and this is where fears and worries are perished. A house is nothing but a construction, while a home is a house you’ve personalised and created memories in and where there is no destruction. A home is also the one special place that you feel comfortable, relaxed and free and where there is no ``in case.`` A home has laughter, joy and love. A house is lonely, sad and meaningless. A home is the place where you rise above. A house is irrelevant. Your home is the most important and special place on this planet and you should feel grateful to have a home whether it’s a house or not. To which I feel so lucky to have a nice home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for letting millions of people experience the joy of a home.
