What Home Means To Me By: Coralie

What Home Means To Me By: Coralie.H I’ve never moved myself but my dad never really stayed in one place. He went to wars and trained for hours so for him it’s so much much more than a structure and that gives me so much more appreciation for our home and environment. I think my home is the biggest part of me and my family. A home is not a house; it's love, hope, forgiveness and connections. My home is not a structure, it's a place full of emotions and love. A home is not a house, it's a memorable and beautiful part of my family's life. I may have two different homes but I feel safe in either home because of my amazingly weird and fun memories. My dad and mom have moved many times but still said that in our home, in our city they feel the safest they've ever been. Home is not just another house, it's where your memories and hearts will live forever. You may have a different perspective, but all the stories I've heard makes me realise how much I have and how little my dad had then. I am grateful for my home and my family and the fact that I could be there to experience and feel the love, joy and hope in the air at either of my homes. Home is to me, an amazing, honest, safe and loving environment that I will love and cherish forever. Home will never be another set of four walls; it will be a memorable, amazing, beautiful home that will never be anything less. My home is not, and will never be something that is meaningless or boring, it’s fun and perfect and I wouldn't change anything about it.
