What Home Means to Me
My home is more than walls and a door,
It’s where love and laughter fill the floor.
The smell of cookies, warm and sweet,
And soft little steps that skip to my feet.
The couch is our place to snuggle tight,
Sharing popcorn on a movie night.
The kitchen hums like a busy song,
Where hugs and good smells all belong.
My room’s my castle, my special space,
With fairy lights, a favorite place.
By the window, I sit and dream away,
Watching the rain at the end of the day.
But it’s not just things that make it so,
It’s the people I love who help it grow.
Mom’s warm hugs and Dad’s kind cheer,
My sister’s jokes I love to hear.
Home is where we laugh and cry,
Where days feel safe as time goes by.
It’s where I’m me, and I feel free,
That’s what my home will always be.
