What Home Means To Me
Hi, my name is Peter and I live in Ontario, Canada. I go to ST.Davids Public school. Home can mean a lot of different things. For me, home feels safe, comfortable, welcoming and loved.
At my house, my family takes care of me and helps me with things I don’t know. Sometimes I need my mom or dad to snuggle me when I’m scared or worried. As soon as I get snuggled I feel calm and safe from all of the things I’m scared of.
Home is where I could be myself or show my emotions. I could be silly, excited and funny. I could also feel comfortable to cry when I’’m sad. I like to get cozy on the couch and get snuggles when I feel lazy or sad.
I know that I will always love my family and my family will always love me.
At my home everyone is welcome. We love to invite lots of friends over to have fun and party. Our doors are always open for anyone to visit.
Finally and most of all my home means love. We have a rule in our house when someone wants or needs a hug you have to give them one even when you don’t feel like it. I know that my home is special because everyone in my family feels loved.
Home is where memories are made by feeling safe, comfortable, welcome and loved. This is what home means to me.
