What is a Home?
A home is a place where I have space.
It is also a habitat where I live and give.
It is most certainly not a place for you to be mad nor sad.
A home is where you stay and play.
Stay warm, eat corn.
Say “hi” not “bye”.
Don”t be gloomy here is a toonie.
Say “Good night.” Then turn off your light.
Good morning make some stew, if you say you love your mom she'll say she loves you too.
Its 2 o-clock twist your lock we’re for a walk.
There are so many houses they have no mouses.
Now I will run, running is fun especially when my dog is by my side following my guide.
Have some chocolate milk and wear some silk.
We’re going to watch a movie. That doesn't cost a loonie or a toonie. “What movie will it be?” A movie under the sea?” Grab some tea we'll decide at 3.
The next day we will play in the backyard. It is also a place with lots of space.
It has fences to fight and stair in the night.
It holds lanterns at night.
The lanterns glow as the wind blows to put on the shows.
Into my room where I can bloom, but when I got hot like a pot I thought I might rot, but the AC keeps me cool without a pool.
In the kitchen where I'm stitchin’, I watch my dad cook chicken.
In my bed with my ted.I play games with a friend named James.
That is my home where I roam. Thank you Habitat For Humanity for your ingenuity.
