My home is special for me and my family that live inside. My home is where me, my parent’s and my 3 siblings are, it's where we make memories as a family and Where love ignites, with all the laughter and fun. My Home’s unique because it’s the place where my parent’s started dating when they were in high school, where my mom grew up, the place where our story as a family started. Home for me is a place where I feel safe and comfortable, with the delicious food my mom makes, the laughs of my 3 siblings and I and all the remarkable things my dad builds. It’s where we gather as a family and eat my mom's inviting home cooked meals like Mexican street corn. It’s where we celebrate all of our traditions, it’s where we celebrate our Friday night movie nights when we cuddle up in our family room and watch all sorts of movies and series while eating delicious nachos. My home has a huge backyard that we build an ice rink in to practice our hockey skills. We also have very fun and competitive game night’s as a family that end up being very loud because my father usually wins. My home’s where we celebrate our holidays. On holidays like Christmas and Halloween we go all out. On Christmas we wear matching pajamas, leave cookies and milk out for Santa and decorate our whole house with Christmas decorations including our five Christmas tree’s. On Halloween my whole family wear’s costumes from the same movie or series, trick or treat and we decorate everything with Halloween decor and best of all our 13 foot jack skeleton from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. My Home is where my heart is, what my whole life revolves around. I'm so lucky to have a home to live in. Thank you Habitat For Humanity for giving this opportunity to those in need.
