The Meaning of Home

When I'm at home, I see people I love and my small furry animals. I feel safe and happy. I feel like I can be myself and I can rest. I smell hot, fresh, right out of the oven baked goods, and hot chocolate being boiled on the stove. I taste delicious warm cookies that melt in my mouth that my mother made. I hear faint music in the background of my family’s voices and laughter from around the dinner table. I am well rested and comfortable at home. This is the meaning of home.
