Home

A house is a corpse, lifeless and bland. A home is filled with spirit so grand. Memories float like ghosts in a home. Memories, from long long ago. You can build a house with sticks and stone but you need memories to build a home. My home is my place, my time, my zone. I can feel safe and happy at home. A house keeps you safe, protected, and dry. A home is different, it's a place to cry. A house is a house until it's a home. The people and pets turn a house to a home. I’m glad I don't have to break a wishbone for a house to turn into a home. Habitat for Humanity gives people the right to make a house a home like my family did for our own.
