The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is somewhere where you feel safe. The place where I feel most safe is my family’s home. I will explain why to you. I feel safe at my house because my mom and dad are there as well as the rest of my family. I also feel safe at my house because my family, especially my sister, makes me feel special. Most of the time I feel safe and special because my family will have movie days. Our favourite movie to watch is Home Alone. We have special snacks like chips and popcorn during our movie nights. I also feel special because I get to play with my sister every day. We normally play outside or play a game on the i-pads. Our favourite game to play is Roblox. The version that we typically play is adopt me. My sister sometimes needs help playing the games, but I don’t mind helping her. Some of the time we watch youtube or do crafts together. We enjoy spending time together. If I have my friends over they also like to play with my sister. I like baking with my mom because I enjoy spending some one on one time with her. We are both good at baking. I like going outside with my dad, we watch movies together with my sister. I absolutely love my dogs and love playing with them. We all love when my family comes to visit, like my grandma and grandpa or my older sister. It is the best feeling when I come home from school and get to see my family and my dogs. My dogs always greet me excitedly at the door when I get home from school.
