Home sweet home

Hi my name is Josh Nickerson and I’m from Nova Scotia. People may not think of this but if you have a home you are lucky to have a roof to stay in on a rainy day. I live with my brother, my mom and my dad. After school I always go home and see my family. At home, my dad always plays the guitar or drums and I am used to the sound of it. I am grateful that my family can afford me and my brother playing golf, hockey and baseball. Some people can't play those sports because their family can't afford it. At night my mom usually lights a candle and it smells like home to me. Home is where I get ready to go to the sports that I play. Home is somewhere where I can be myself and not worry about anything. In the summer I play golf and baseball. I always play catch in the backyard at sunset and jump around on my trampoline and in the winter I play hockey and I skate on my backyard and play in the snow. My dad watches a lot of golf. Home tastes like fresh apple pie and in the winter it tastes like hot apple cider.
