What is home?

To me, home is the place where you get to go after a stressful day of school or a bad day in general and feel safe, calm and forget about all of the worries you had that day. Home is not just the place but the people you live with. Home is where you eat the amazing meals cooked by your guardian or the people you call family. When you are in a house that is not your home it doesn’t feel the same. Because you don’t have the comfort of your warm bed and your blankets wrapped around you or your fluffy dog cuddling you. When you are home you can be you. You can feel safe around the people you call family. You can play board games with your little brother or do what you like to do with the people you love and do it in the place you call home. Home is a place where you can go and no matter what happens the people in your home that you call family will always love you. No matter where you live or who you live with, it is a place where you can feel safe and calm and always have people who love and care for you. It doesn't matter what shape, size or place your home is because that is your home that you live in and have memories in. Home isn't necessarily a building or a house, it can be the people you live with or the place you had memories of when you were younger. Home can be outside in a log cabin or in a massive house in the middle of a city. This is what home means to me.
