Home Can Be Anywhere

We stand together, we are strong, that's what home means to me. Ottawa: where I’m loved by my family, where I can be my best self, where I eat the best food, where I do my favorite activities like snowmobiling and four wheeling. Ottawa is one of my favorite places in the world not just because I have family there but because I have some of my favorite memories there. Siblings: when I’m feeling down I'll go to my sister and she'll give me a good joke and I'll feel up right away. When I'm bored I'll annoy my brother and have fun with him. I may have fights with my siblings but they make everything feel like home. Roscoe: everyday after school I take my dog Roscoe out. After he does his business he always runs up to me and kisses my face and snuggles me although I'm probably not his favorite person. I love him so much. He means the world to me. I don't know what I would do without Roscoe. Now this should be proof that home can be anywhere, not just a house. Canada may be my country but Nova Scotia is my home.
