Happy In My Home

My home is my happy place. It is where I feel safe. In my home, I feel loved. In my home I have a roof over my head and walls to protect me from storms. In my home, I grow. In my home, I gaze out of my window with the most happy feeling. Looking through the window to find the beautiful outdoors. To find the tree that I love to climb. To find the old playhouse that I used to love to play in. To find my firepit that I have roasted marshmallows in. The place that I love. Those safe, warm, and happy feelings are what make my house a home. You know that you are living in a home when you can say that you feel happy and strong enough to do anything. Also, when you feel cozy and joyful. I am very happy with my home and it is where I want to sleep and dream. It is where I want to eat my meals. It is where I want to live my life. That makes it a home. A beautiful, wonderful home. A home that I want to learn in, and to love in, and to share my adventures in. I love to walk around our community and look around at all of the beautiful nature. I love to walk to the rock that has been painted as a frog at the beach entrance. I also love the beautiful smells and sounds of all four seasons. Imagine the summer, running in the sand. And the fall, feeling that cool breeze run through your hair. Also in winter, watching little flakes of snow melting on your shoulders. And lastly, spring and the little dandelion seeds floating around you. Now that's what I call a home.
