The Meaning of Home to Me

I wish all of us could have a wonderful family home. Whenever I feel alone, I think of family and where I find family. The answer is at home. Home is where all of us live. It is a special place because you might have memories there. For example, I learned to walk at my home, which is something special. Also something that home means to me is that I play at my home, I relax at home, I draw in my home. Home is also a place where my friends and family can stay at and sleep at, home will also be a place to express my feelings or myself. Home is where our story begins, what I love most about my home is who I share it with. There is nothing more important than a good, safe, secure home. In this home, we believe in second chances when we make mistakes. We keep it real. We apologize. We do it out loud really well. We do hugs. We do it together the best of all. Chase your dreams but always know the road that will lead you home again. Four walls and a roof over your head isn’t the only way we define the word ‘home.’ Home is more than just a shelter, it’s where we love, it’s where we feel, it’s where we can be ourselves and it’s where life happens. I feel depressed about all the people that don’t have a home we need to spread awareness by all these poems. Home is a very special place, and it always will be.
