Meaning Of Home

A home is somewhere special you can spend your life. Without a home, you will find it very difficult to survive a lifetime. When I open my door at home and look around, I think of how lucky I am to have the home I live in because not many people can afford things that I have. For example, not everybody has a safe place to live or not everybody has bunk beds, and not everybody has food and clean water. These are reasons we need to be grateful for the beautiful homes we have because there are many who can’t afford them. Many homeless families have trouble being without a home. Staying together while being homeless has ripped many families apart. Those who were family and lost their homes have not only lost their home, but have lost family members, too. When you can’t afford a home, you can’t afford food and that would make it hard to survive. If I had no home, I would feel very sad and lonely inside and that would not feel good. Since I'm lucky enough to have a home, I would love to help others get one for them and their families.
