The Blessings of Home

A home for me is somewhere to feel safe, Somewhere to be myself, To be with my family and to feel love, A home is where you should start, and a home is where you should end. Some people don't have a house, But everyone deserves to have a home, For you see a home isn’t a house, A home is love and family and being together. Do you understand now? You can’t call a floor, walls, and a roof a home, That is a house because there's no love in a house, You have to truly love a house to call it a home. My house is not a home, My home is not a house But wherever the people I love are, is where I call a home. Those are the blessings of home.
