My home is a place for me
Homes have meaning, you know,
Even if your bed feels like snow.
Home is where you have good memories,
Where you hear all kinds of melodies.
I have always believed,
A house you can walk away from,
But a home you can't leave.
A home I share with my family,
The only place I can breathe.
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and even the dog,
Even the average garden gnome,
They make a home.
I believe that a home isn't just a place to stay,
But a place to say,
That my home is a place for me.
