My Home To Me

To me the meaning of home to me is not only a house, but the people and love we chose to surround ourselves with. Which is why my home wouldn’t be the same without my family there with me. Or without my animals, they are the lifeblood of my home. They make time at home enjoyable and funny. Now it's not only inside the house that's home, our cedars in our front yard that me and my brother love to play in, and our old trampoline that me and my brother jump on no matter the weather. Also our love for nature, my mom does her part to keep the environment safe and the rest of us help her as much as we can. My home wouldn’t be home without our love for long bike rides and hikes in nature. But it is home inside too, like when we buy a new puzzle and the whole family will get together and just try to figure as many pieces out as we can. Or when the whole family comes to the dinner table to eat a nice home cooked meal. It wouldn’t be home without all our board games which we get together and play at least once a week. Or without our reading time which is when we all cuddle on our couch and read our favorite books. My favorite part of our home is my dad's dad jokes which he tells all the time. But the best part of all is the kindness, so when someone in our family is having a bad day everyone is there for them. Also the love, our family is constantly telling each other how much we love them. For me it wouldn’t be home without my stuffies, especially my stuffy lam-lam.
