The Meaning of Home

INTRODUCTION A roof and four walls is nothing. It is just an empty vessel. What matters is what’s inside of that house. Meaning of Home One thing that makes my house feel like home is my family. My family is run by my parents because they feed me, take care of me and drive me to school. They're there for me no matter what. My brother, in a way, makes me feel at home. Although he’s always picking on me, he’s just always been there, and it wouldn't be the same without him. My pets are a big part of my family. My dogs are there at the door to greet me when I get home from school, and my cat is always beside me. Comfort, to me, is what makes a house “home”. You need to be comfortable in your house to make it “home”.You can personalize it, make it YOUR home. Decorate it with things you like, or make you feel comfortable. I love my room. My room is a place where I can be free to do whatever I want. In my room is my bed, where I sleep. My desk where I draw or write, and my closet. I keep all my clothes in my closet. In my room it is just me. My family, my pets and my room is what makes me feel at home. It ‘s different for other people , but these are what takes MY roof and four walls and turns it into a home.
