Meaning of Home
My home looks like an adventurous place,
You'll see a tree house and a zipline,
With a bike trail and a forest,
Home is a small word with a big meaning,
It lives rent-free in my heart you see,
Home Isn't just glee It's family for all to see,
We have a big red door to welcome everyone,
In the summer we play road hockey and biking with friends.
In the winter we dig tunnels and go sledding with all our friends,
Our friends have hot tubs and pools,
We have a basement with an Xbox, playing Roblox and Minecraft too,
We like to go camping with friends and family,
Campfires are our specialty. We do it all year long. Please come and share
a spider dog and or two,
We decorate on Halloween, Easter, Christmas, and birthdays too.
My home sounds like joy and toys,
Four kids playing and a dad watching football,
You’d hear birds chirping and kids playing,
Lego bricks and keyboard clicks,
Shovels scraping and vegetables getting cut,
Excited kids when they hear it's a snow day,
You’ll hear a washing machine run until your ears go pop.
My home smells like soggy cereal and oatmeal,
French toast and yummy homemade pancakes,
My home smells like candles burning and clean laundry,
Dirty cat litter when someone forgets their chore,
Tacos, it’s a family favorite, and sushi,
Soft cookies right out of the oven,
My home taste like yummy homemade pancakes,
cookies, cupcakes,
Subway after hockey tournaments.
My home feels warm and cozy,
My cats soft fur,
Cold air conditioning,
Soft stuffys,
And a hamburger in your hands.
I love my home with all my heart and everything within it.
