meaning of home

A home is not four walls. It's not a roof. A home for me is the feeling of love. The feeling of safety. For me my happy place. A time of the day I can go home and see my family is everything. A home is where I can experience my feelings and not be judged. A home is where I feel comfortable. At home I don't need to wear pretty clothes. Really, I can wear pjs all day and it's ok. The feeling of home means so much! But the feeling of a house is not so good. A house is more than four walls and furniture. It's just not somewhere I feel loved and comfortable. But a home is where family comes and has birthdays, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties. Home is where I learn to cook, I learn to read, I learn to walk, I learn to swim. Home is where I feel my family happy together. Home is where I can be myself. Home is where the heart is!
