Meaning of Home
For me home isn't just a building because it’s way more than a building. Home is where my family is, It’s being able to come home to a family who supports you unconditionally. Home is where memories grow.
My mom, dad, brothers and my sweet little bird make me feel at home. My mom supports me, and is always willing to give a helping hand if I need anything. My dad and I are known to be the jokesters in our family because we are able to joke about anything and everything. My brothers and I can always count on each other because we are always going to protect each other and be there for each other no matter what. My bird is very special to me. She’s always there for me when I’m upset and is always up to play. Family is my home that I am always welcome to go to.
Home Is where we all support each other’s opinions, hobbies and more. Everyday when me and my brothers get back from school we all tell each other about our “roses and thorns” and our thoughts on the day supporting each other’s thoughts. My whole family supports me alot and I always try to support them as much as they support me.
My favorite memories are traveling to Mexico and Florida with my mom, dad and my two brothers. Whenever I make new special moments with my family I store those memories and my head because when I go to think of those memories it makes me feel at home with my family.
Home is not just a building because it means so many more things to me and I think it’s unfair that some people don’t get a place to share these special moments with family or have a safe place to stay so luckily Habitat for Humanity is trying to provided these thing to people that don’t have what other people do.
