What is Home?
I live in a home, not a house, a home. My home isn't just a place with a couple of meanings, my home is a place with multiple meanings. I live in a home full of laughter, happiness, and love. When I walk into my home, I hear my dog's paws coming to give me a lot of kisses. In my home, I learned to walk, play, and run and discovered my first word.
Home is a place where I can be myself. When I am at home, I feel creative, fearless, and comfortable. Home is where I can lay on the couch and watch hockey with my family, play board games, make forts with my friends, and play in my pool.
At home, I make memories, memories that will last a lifetime. My home is a place to make mistakes, not to be perfect.
Everyone deserves a home, not just people with privileges.
I am lucky to have a home like mine, not everyone has a home like mine. I hope that together we can raise a home just like mine for a family.
