What home means to me

To me a home is not a building, it is the place you live. The most important place that I can name. At home you can be yourself without anyone thinking you’re weird. Everyone needs a home, a place to live where you can be sheltered and warm. A place to make memories, a place to be safe and a place you can always go. Some people don’t have a home and might have special needs. I want to help them get one so they can live in peace. Let’s work together to help everyone have a home, a place they can always come back to. A place they can love and always want to stay, a place they will never have to leave. My home is full of love and it is very peaceful. My home is full of laughs, full of joy and full of kind people. If someone’s home is full of crying, worries, and complaining, to me, that should not be a home. To me that would be a house. I don’t want to see people sitting out in the cold, I want everyone to be warm. I want everyone to have food, water and a roof over their heads. I want everyone to have a home. People are living in horrible houses that break or are infested with rats. They need help, they need a home, they need a safe place to live. A home is the place where your whole family lives and you can talk to them about your feelings. You always have food and water and you always have love that’s what a home means to me.
