HOME
What is a home? Home is not just a physical house to me. When I think of home I think of happiness, memories, friends, family, special, comforting and even fear. I am happy when I'm with my family and friends, drawing, playing basketball and more. I have so many memories with everyone like pictures, videos and even inside jokes. My friends are like my, “home away from home.” Sometimes things can be scary, even in the comfort of your own home. We have to be able to live with these fears. When I think of the word special it connects to home in many ways. I feel special when, for example, it's my birthday! I get presents and attention. I get to spend the day how I want and it's all about me.
What if it isn’t that easy? What if you didn't have a place to live? Like homeless people. They don't get to feel happy when they come home or get to be with their family, they're out on the streets. The only memories they have are on the streets and probably other horrible memories. They might not have friends. Just imagine how they feel. Everyday can be scary for them. There are people who might be stealing their small amount of money for food or clothes. I don't think they feel safe or special. They don't get to celebrate a nice birthday with everyone they love. They really appreciate every single penny they have. We can sometimes be annoyed for silly reasons, when you get mad you should think how their lives are. I think we should put a big effort in helping these people. We need to help them so everyone can have a home! Who's with me?
