What Does Home Mean?

A house is built with walls and beams, but a home is made with love and dreams. My home is special because I feel safe like I can really be myself. My house was built by my dad in 2004 and then it became a home. with all the chaos of having my brother and I, we always thought our house was a home. And we’ve never felt different about it . Home to me is a place I feel loved and safe in. but I have two homes and I love both my moms’ home and my dad’s home. I feel loved and safe in both homes it doesn’t matter where you are or where you live it only matters if you consider your house a home. When I’m at home I feel like I’m floating in the clouds and I can be me. A home is small word with a lot of meaning it could mean many different things. But a true home is a place you feel happy and comfortable. Home is not something you can always have some people can’t afford a home but that doesn’t mean they don’t need one. And I’m happy that people out there are helping other have a home. It’s amazing really. Sometimes I don’t realize how lucky I am to have a home that I feel loved and safe In. Sometimes people don’t have one. I hope that one day everyone can have a place they feel safe, comfortable and loved. That would make me happy to know that home can be for everyone.
