The meaning of home

Home can mean a bunch of different things. Some people do not like home and never want to be there. Other people love home and love to be there. But to me it means all the memories you make there, all the people and animals there and how safe home can be from other places. I am sure it is not like that for everyone but it sure is for me! All the memories you make at home will probably be in your life forever. Some of the memories I made at home are when I got my own Gecko for Christmas and when I got a dog back in September 2020! I have also made a lot of memories from hanging out with my friends and family! Me, my family and all my neighbors usually hang out alot, we all live on the same lake and go on our boats together and throw parties at special times and alot of my memories are from the lake! Memories are a big part of life and I find for me a lot of those memories were at home! Another part of the meaning of home is all the people and animals there. For some people, It is not about the people or animals because maybe they do not like the people or animals at home or something. But for me probably the biggest part of home is the people and pets, like my family, friends, neighbors and random nice, happy and just like fun people and pets! I always get excited when people or even pets come over cause it's just fun most of the time. Usually my family comes over for Christmas and on Christmas eve we throw a party and we also have a party on new years or my neighbors do, but most of the time it is us because on new years it is my mom's birthday! I'm sure home is not safe for everyone but it is pretty safe for me. I just feel more comfortable at home because home is probably where you grew up or maybe you just spend a lot of time there. Home is more comfortable and safe for me because I can kind of just go and roam around where I want to and not worry about anything and also all the people there I have known for a longtime or I am just close with them. But that is mostly for my house and maybe outside. Otherwise for other people's houses I usually feel safe there but maybe not as comfortable as I find my house. Also I find home doesn’t have to be your house but for a lot of people it is but home, for me is more than just my house but my house is definitely where I feel the most comfortable. The meaning of home is all the memories there, all the people and animals there and how home is more comfortable and safe there. The reason why I think all the memories there are a part of the meaning of home is probably because a lot of things happen at home and maybe they could be where some big moments happened and just maybe where your life changed and things that will be in your life forever. All the people and animals at home are probably the most important part of home.
