Home

Home. Such a small word for such a big thing. Home’s are safe places, warm places, kind places. Homes are special, they are not just houses they can be apartments, tents, a run down car that doesn’t work anymore. Homes could be filled with couches and tables, plants and beds, but the most important thing in a home is love. Homes are very important for children while growing up. It makes them feel grounded like they have something of their own. They can say my home. They can go to their home and read with their dog, they can go to sleep in their bed, they can feel safe and secure in their home. A home to me is a very important place to be myself, to be safe, to create and to be loved. Home. Such a small word for such a big thing.
