A Home

A home is not a building, it’s a place in your heart. It takes a long time to make someplace a home A home can be your family A home is just not a shelter, it’s a place where you can relax It has love and that’s the most important thing. A home is a place where you can be yourself You may have not spent all of your life in your home, but that's ok because a home will always be with you in your heart. When I think about my home I think about my family When I enter my home, I see a place full of kind people A house and a home is not the same there is a lot of difference A house is a building made by man and a home is made by you and your love I love my family in every way They keep me happy every day A home is safe A home is filled with love A home is where I grew up A home is a blessing from my family A home is where everything is calm It is hard not to know not everyone has a home And I want to help raise money for them Give them a safe place to live Give them A Home That’s why I am writing this poem My mom and dad help me whenever I need help They help me keep calm I love my home in every way It keeps many of my memories inside as the years go by At home, I feel loved At home, I feel happy I enjoy my life at home Be safe and happy in every way You’ll always find a home no matter what Everyone deserves to have a home like me!
