Home

A home is somewhere where our heart feels safe or somewhere we’re more emotionally attached to. While your house could still be considered a home to you, (like me) it doesn’t necessarily need to be paid for. My home is a part of my heart. My family is also a part of my heart. It’s always so nice to be able to wake up remembering I have a home and family to live with. But not everyone has somewhere that feels at home. Whether they have a house or not. When I lived in my old house, I truly did love my house but sometimes it didn’t feel like I was at home. In the bottom half of the house someone lived there while Me, My mom and my brother lived on the top floor. It was very small and sometimes I didn’t feel like I had a lot of privacy. Now that I live in my current house I finally feel like I have a home. Even though I share a room with my step sister, I always feel relaxed and I feel like I have a bunch of privacy. Even my Mom feels more at home here. So…to know that some people can’t feel this feeling of waking up in an amazing home or house is terrible. Honestly, I do wish everyone could find a place they call home because some people don’t even have a place they can call home. No matter who you are, or where you may be from, everyone deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves a home. Even if this essay doesn’t make it to the top, I hope whoever may see this can remember this. Home is not always a house, Home is whatever you desire it to be.
