home

To me home is not a building situated on the streets or in the middle of town but it is a place where I can create friendships, be my crazy self and always feel safe. To me, home is creating friendships. I always get to hangout with my best friend, Addyson. We're always baking. When I play with my brother we are always playing sports. When I hangout with my dad we are always watching hockey together. When I'm doing something with my mom we are always doing crafts together. Last but not least, when I play with my dog we are always playing together. When I'm with these people I am home. Home is crazy even though it gets loud and crazy it is still home when I am playing sports with my brother it's crazy when I have friends over its crazy when we watch movies it can not be silent because it's crazy when we're watching movies there is always someone yelling at the tv FOR NO REASON. When I'm backing I'm making a mess and the house gets crazy. My home is always crazy and loud and to me that is a part of home. The one thing I'm so lucky to have is safety. When I'm home I feel safe and able to be myself without feeling odd. I'm so lucky to have a home that works especially because some kids don't and for me I can always trust my family no matter who in my family it is to me feeling safe will always be a BIG part home. To me home is all those things and thinking that some kids don't have what I have makes me want to do something about it. Those are the words that mean home to me.
