What is Home?

What is home? To me home is spending time with family, feeling safe, and celebrating holidays together. To me, home means spending time with family. Everyday my family and I watch a show, we watch Modern family . We enjoy shopping online for clothes and Earrings. Home is where you make memories. I feel safe when I'm with my family. I feel safe in my house because I have 4 walls and a roof to protect me from snow, rain, and hail. In addition, this makes me feel safe because I have food, water, and a comfortable bed. I feel at home when we celebrate holidays together and make new traditions. If you move 20 times it will still be your home because you would still be doing the same traditions just in different places. I feel this way because I've done the same traditions on Christmas for 7 years. At Christmas we always have a big breakfast and open presents. All of these reasons tell me that home is a feeling not a place. Home is when you spend time with family, it is feeling safe, and celebrating holidays together.
