Meaning of Home
Meaning of Home
When was the last time you felt like you weren't home or you did not have rights? Well 30% of young youth populations feel this way every day. Did you know about 43% young youth leave there home each year since there were tortured at home. You must be thinking there are many ways to fix this problem. Well you are right but it takes a lot of energy and effort a lot of people are not willing to do that. Home to me means having rights being loved. Home is a place I can call safe but some call it a horror place. That's how Mike feels Mike was tortured, abused locked up its hard to believe people can do that to one another. Mike ran away but it did not impact his family at all. Just like mike there are many other young youth suffering out there they have now where to go no where to be but we can change that by making shelters that are entertaining and make enough for every person to feel welcomed and at home. A wise person once said “who are we as human beings if we ignore the suffering of others”-anonymous people are homeless because of the way parents treat them some older people are homeless because job loss financial troubles but all of this we can help fix some problems are not fixable and we don't fix them we try but we aren't able to fix them but if a problem is fixable why not try why not try to make a difference to the world. To a lot of us home is a safe place, a comfort place, a place to be yourself. Let's help the 30% of youth feel the same way.
