Meaning Of Home

Home: pronounced:(hom) NOUN. A residence. That is not what home really means though.  Home is the starting place of love, dreams, happiness and it is where our story starts... You can express yourself here. You can be frustrated, happy, sad or even mad.  Home is where love flies around, memories bounce up and down, and laughter never ends!  Home is like a shelter to your heart and mind. Although, you might think a home is made of bricks and beams, a home is made of hopes and dreams. The magic of home is that our feet might leave it one day, but home will never leave our hearts.  Home can also mean your family. Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister…. whoever! What I like mostly about home is who I share it with. Home is a feeling, not a place. Your home is your Heaven. You cannot bring a house wherever you go. Though you can bring a home.  Home is where you can dig a hole and bury deep your sadness and sorrows. A home is not always a mansion or a giant castle with too many rooms to count, it is where you feel comfortable and safe in your own way.  Home is just a word or feeling, you might think, but it is stronger than a wizard. At home you might feel down in the dumps, but at the moment, there will always be something happening to make you crack a smile.  At home positiveness flies around in a small hurricane, while negative things get thrown out of the window. Remember that home and family is with you even at the darkest of times. You cannot wish for a better place than home. By Hanishka Suresh
