The Meaning of Home

Home… The most loved place by all. The meaning of home can be different for everybody, but generally it's all about family and love. Family is so important because if you aren’t with any family for a long time, then you’ll get quite upset and your day will just fall apart. Everyday when I come down the stairs, my family is there, everyday I come home from school, my family is there, everyday when I come home from a vacation, my family is there. If I'm ever feeling down or sad my family is always there. Love is also incredibly important to me because a home isn't special without love. Love is whenever my sisters sing to me or whenever the family plays a board game or watches a movie. If you don't love your home than it no more than a friend's house, you should always see the good of your home and love it. If you don't understand the difference between a home and a house then you will never truly understand the meaning of home. A house is a physical place while home is more of a… feeling. The things that make home home are family and love. If you don't have a lot of money and can’t afford a house, that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a home, one's home can simply be a tent or a cave, but Habitat for Humanity is helping people find their own sustainable homes instead of renting one out. If you don't have a house, don't fret, you will always have a home.
