What My Home Means To Me...

My home means a lot to me. It is my safe haven, a comfort zone and it provides me with security, privacy, control, and it is where I can live happily with my family. My home is the only place where I can truly be myself. It is a place where I can create many wonderful memories, and it is an escape from what’s going on in the outside world, such as school or like the current pandemic the world is in. My home is a place where I’m surrounded by the love of my family, and is a place where I love them back. It is a place where I can gather with friends for parties and meetings, and a place where I can express my emotions freely. It’s a place where there are no secrets. My home is a very important and special place, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. It is a place where I can have breakfast with my family. A place where I can lay in bed and watch TV. A place where I can play with my family and my cat, Ming Ming. A place where I can have a good night's rest, and wake up the next day with a smile on my face. My home is my protector. Its four corners provide me with a stable shelter, and it's like a shield, protecting me from the outside elements. It is a place I can rely on to keep me, my family, and all of my precious belongings safe, and a place where I can safely attend school in virtual form. My home is a wonderful place. It is my family, it is my protector, and it’s a very special place. However, my home isn’t just my house. It is everyone that lives in my house. After all, it's like they say, “home is where the heart is.”
