The Meaning of Home

A house is a house, it can't become a home without love and support. My house stays in one spot , but my home will follow me. My home is where I feel welcome, acknowledged and safe. My home can be anywhere, school is one, my dance studio is another. School is where I feel acknowledged. It is home for me. My dance studio I feel welcome. It is home for me. My home can be my house, but not all the time. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Many places are home for me, but sometimes I don't get a home. If I'm depressed or under the weather. I feel like no home is here, but sometimes if I'm lucky home is right where I need it. Home makes me feel safe, happy, joyful and is filled with kindness. If I'm home I can laugh and I don't have to worry about anything. It's a safe place for me, it might not be for anyone else, cause my home is only for myself. No one can steal it or hide it. My home will always find me. A house is a house it can become a home, with people, animals and feelings then only then is it a home. Everybody has a home and that will be anywhere.
