Meaning of Home

Home is where I can roam without being alone. It's where I have grown while being safe from the unknown. Home is wherever you feel safe. As the days fly by, I can age and age, but my home will never change. It's like a guard, hard and armed. Through the doors I go, I see where I grew. It has so many memories for me to remember. I have played in my home from when I was little to today. I said it would be okay. When I go home to open the door, I see my parents who welcome me with open arms. My house may change, and it may have been rearranged, But my home will never be strange. The house itself may move and we might travel to new and different places, But my home can improve and unravel into a magnificent view, for every one of us is equivalent, black or white. I hope by writing this poem, everything will be alright, despite the fight with covid raging tonight. We can help others build a new home, for those who do not have. Thank you.
