What home means to me

Home means so much more to me than just a house it's where I can express myself and not worry that anyone is going to judge me for who I am. It is where I feel happiness belonging and safe. Happiness to me is joy that makes me feel positive and thankful when I think of my home. At home I feel happy when I play with my sister because we laugh a lot and use our creativity to make amazing forts and fun videos. Whenever I gather with my family I feel so happy because we get to do many fun things like hikes, bike rides, camping, crafting and so much more. There are so many other reasons why home makes me feel happy and I'm very thankful that my home is filled with happiness. I have always felt I have a very important role in my family because I'm the first daughter, first cousin, niece and granddaughter. I feel important because my family shows me so much love, encouragement and care which makes me feel like I will always have a place where I belong. At home Feeling safe is important to me because I can be myself and not be scared. Being myself means that I can be silly, funny and express my inner thoughts with the people I love. I love the feeling of being part at home that makes me feel so protected and safe. This is why home is more than just a house to me. I am so lucky to have a place to call home. :)
