Meaning of Home

Meaning of home Home. What is home? Is home a comfy place to relax, or is it an investment? Home is both. I absolutely love how it's both. I love how it’s a very calming place and very much connected to reality at the same time. Home is comfy. You relax, you sleep, eat, and do many more things there. There is no one there to judge or say “no” to you. But home is also just a place to stay while you work and live your life. Weird huh? Your home can technically be a shapeshifter - it changes the way you see it depending on your mood and what you think about it. Maybe you hate your house. Maybe you hate it because it’s not modern and it looks poor. If you think of it that way, you may never be able to see all the wonders it holds just for you and your loved ones. Houses, of course, are very expensive. Money doesn’t grow on trees. That means that some people can’t afford a house, even if they borrow money from the bank. Some people are homeless, and there isn’t much we can do about it. Every now and then, we give people we see on the streets money. But that isn’t enough. Everyday they wake up to suffer because of their loss of money. It’s honestly heartbreaking. But, the question I was thinking about while making this, is a house a home? A house is a building. A home. A home is a safe place with friends and family. A home is reality. A home is life. A home couldn’t and wouldn’t tell you rude, disencouraging things. But a home doesn’t have to be a house. A home can be a cave. A home can be a shell. A home is all these wonders and more. Home is safe. Simply just safe. I guess I enjoyed making this. My teacher just told me to write an essay for this contest so I did. But I think I might have learned a little bit. Just a tiny bit. :)
