The Meaning of Home

A home is somewhere you can feel safe, loved, comfortable, and it has what you need to be healthy. Not somewhere you feel sick, and not where you feel your stomach is tied in knots. It's honestly just about mental feeling, let's say if you just suddenly move into a new house. You can't call it home, even if it's yours, but at the same time it's not. A home needs to grow on you, because what's the point of a home if it's just like a stranger's house to you? A home is somewhere you grow up, a place you will NEVER want to be taken away from you, because that's scary. Home can just be four walls, and a big fat roof, but you need to feel it! A home can be small but it has a BIG meaning! It doesn't matter if it's small, it only matters if you are loved by people you also love. So what makes it a place you feel safe, and a place you can call home, sweet home? You need to get used to it, and accept it's now your home. And that's it. That's kind of what I used to think. (Even if I was going to move, I would still be upset) But after reading some articles about people who are constantly moving around houses just to make ends meet, it's kind of sad. So what ACTUALLY makes a home? Well, the process can take a long time to grow on it if you're not so happy about this. Like most people, you will be upset to leave your home. I think the best way is to get closer to the people you know, like you can call your friends! Talk to them, that way it'll be less painful if you moved away somewhere far. Also get to know the new house, and try to think about the pros and not the cons about the place. Also you should know your new neighbors if you move, so at least you'll be socializing to keep you occupied for a bit. But the most important thing is, your loved ones are there. The only way to feel family is to be with your FAMILY! Nothing is more important, and when I mean nothing, I mean nothing! It's meaningless if you are not with someone you love! It doesn't have to be a family member, it could be a pet, a friend who lives nearby, or just a friendly person you just love! Because family is your everything, like literally, they rushed you all your life! So, what is the meaning of home? Depends, but it's always family!
