The Meaning of Home for Me

Home for me is not just walls,floors,a ceiling,and doors. For me it's much more than that, it's a space where I can be myself, feel the love that surrounds me, and have fun with my family. The biggest thing about my home is all the memories we have together. Like how we use to have movie nights in our bonus room that we now have in our renovated basement. The movie nights that we now have in our basement are full of laughter, and sometimes tears, but it’s still some of the best things that we do as a family. At our dining table we also have great memories. We have breakfast at the kitchen table together on saturday mornings, and also have great meals at the table for breakfast lunch and dinner that my mom spends lots of time preparing. When I'm around my family in these places or any place I always feel the same. I feel happy, safe, I can be myself and relax. Thats why home is not just a building for me, its the feeling I get when I am with my family.
